. A sacred journey is like going on a travel adventure to an exotic, foreign land. You can encounter adventures that are beyond your wildest imagination. The difference between a physical journey to a physical foreign land, and a Marijuana-Inspired Sacred Journey is that the MISJ takes one into the non-physical world where an experienced traveler can go instantly to anywhere he or she chooses to go and encounter any experiences he or she chooses to experience. With regard to safety, an inexperienced spiritual-traveler, should always have another physical person with them during their first few encounters with the non-physical side of reality. The wise traveler goes first to Creator/God and directs that one or more non-physical spirit-beings be the traveler's guide and protector. If requested to do so, Creator/God will keep you safe from anything and everything that you are not ready to experience. You can also use a sacred journey to expand your self-awareness. You can ask to see/feel/hear the truth about your thoughts, feelings, emotions, beliefs, attitudes, opinions, judgments, loves hates and the like. You can direct "Source" to inform you of the truth on any topic you choose. We call a Marijuana Inspired Sacred Journey (M.I.S.J.) Visiting Miss Jay. If you are new at this type of adventure, you'd be wise to have a travel guide. Before we go into details, perhaps its appropriate to give you a hint as to what we are doing an why. The section below, Our Place in the Universe is that hint. . |

. Two brief readings are included here that may offer a hint to our place in the universe. One is the introductory story on our What Is a Context website, titled "The Spider on My Wall." The other is the expanded version of the famous "Web of Life" quote from Chief Seattle: The Spider On My Wall . One evening just as I had settled into my easy chair and my pet cat, Tiger, had taken up his position as exclusive resident on my lap, I noticed a spider crawling along the wall. Being both tired and contentedly relaxed, I sat, unmoving, watching its progress. I thought, "Where is it going? What is it doing? Is it blindly roaming, or is there a plan in its mind?" I thought of the relationship between that spider and myself. It was doing its thing completely oblivious of the context it was in and the control that I had over its environment, its future, and even its life. Had my wife, sitting nearby, seen our fellow resident, she would have requested that I capture it and evict it from the only home it has ever been in. I, on the other hand, simply sat and watched. The Hermetic Principle known as Correspondence came to mind -- As above so below; as within so without. It occurred to me that in the larger context that we call God, I, in all probability, hold a position similar to that which the spider held in my home. The spider was unaware that it was, at the moment, being watched, that its home, its livelihood, and its very survival were completely in my control. It was also unaware that with nothing more than a pre-programmed, mechanical reaction I, or any nearby human who saw it, could easily have turned it into mush with its only lingering influence being that of a slight stain on the living room wall. I shifted my thought to God and asked, what is my relationship to whatever it is the we call God? Am I being observed? Does God care where I crawl or what I do? Is He/She/It even aware of my existence? Could it be that I am merely something that simply happened along God's way to a "somewhere" or a "something" that I know nothing about? I looked at the spider and thought: I neither need, desire, nor expect it to kneel and pray to me. I don't need a special, spider building dedicated to worshipping me. I don't need any virgin spider sacrificed, nor do I want any burnt offerings. I really don't care what the spider does or doesn't do. And I'm definitely not interested in its sexual habits. It occurred to me that what I know about God is about as much as the spider knows about me. It also occurred to me that in one context I am God and in the other I am the human equivalent of the spider on my wall. I continued to sit quietly. Soon becoming bored contemplating the spider's life, I reached for the TV remote control and clicked the "on" button. The spider continued its journey, unnoticed, to who-knows-where. The Web of Life: The second reading is an expansion of the famous quote from Chief Seattle. Here's the original Quote: "Whatever befalls the Earth, befalls the people on the Earth. Man did not weave the web of life. He is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web he does to himself.”

. We tend to think that we are important and that what we do matters. Here's a piece of what the evidence tells us: "Life is filled with significance and meaning, all of which is insignificant and meaningless." The Biblical account of the fall of man is reported to be when humans woke up and became aware of "good and evil." The evidence indicates that just the opposite is true. Humans fell into the illusion of good and evil. Everything just is. Our beliefs about it are what make it food and evil. Among other things, perhaps it's time to reread this biblical passage:
Romans 14:14 “I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that [there is] nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him [it is] unclean.”
Romans 14:20 “. . All things indeed [are] pure; but [it is] evil for that man who eateth with offence”
It owall. Befor.
John 14:12 John 14:12 ... "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." (Paraphrased) An
Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.
Matthew 7:3-5 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam [is] in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
1 Corinthians 1:10 KJV "Now I beseech you...that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."
Matthew 7:15-16 "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.” u Here's a few more details about how to Recognize a False Profit.°
Matthew 25:40 "Verily I say unto you, In as much as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me" u Is it possible that there aren't really any enemies, but only fellow-god-beings with different points of view living in human bodies that are slightly different from our own?
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." u Clearly states that life as a human being begins at first breath.
Mark 10:19 Mark 10:19 ... "Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother." u This passage clearly condemns lying and committing fraud.° It does not distinguish between lies of commission and lies of omission. (A lie of ”Commission” is intentionally deceiving someone by telling something that is not true. A lie of “Omission” is intentionally deceiving someone by withholding vital information.
Proverbs 29:24 (paraphrased) "He who partners with a thief hates his own soul. He hears cursing and does not recognize it."
Matthew 6:5-6 Matthew6:5-6 ... "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues [houses of worship] and in the corners of the streets, [and on television] that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." u This passage chastises public prayer and instructs people to pray in private. We wonder if school prayer and praying on TV could possibly be considered public prayer.
This passage tells us that school prayer is
not about reaching God. It's about
mind-bending. It's about promoting
religiosity to children too young to know, or
understand what's happening.
Remember the Communist slogan: "Get the
mind of the child and you've
got the adult." Well that technique is
Christian in origin and started back in the
beginning days of Roman Catholic public
manipulation.

. The Fundamentalist Christians have turned Jesus into a Biblically prohibited golden idol and placed him on a peddle far above themselves. Rather than acknowledging the teachings of Jesus as the pathway to "heaven," they have declared that Jesus, himself is that pathway. They have also declared humans to be worthless, groveling incompetent morons who must prostrate themselves in the mud where they belong, then pray to Jesus and beg God for favors. The passages listed below, tell us a very different story.
John 14:2 "In my Father's house there are many mansions...." John 14:12 John 14:12 ... "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." (Paraphrased) Anything I can do, you can do and more.
John 14:9 (Paraphrased) If you have seen me [Jesus] you have seen God.
John 14:10 (Paraphrased) I [Jesus] am in God and God is in me. God lives in me and does his work through me.
John 14:11 (Paraphrased) I [Jesus] am in the God, and God is in me.
John 14:20 (Paraphrased) I [Jesus] am in God, and you are in me, and I am in you."
John 14:21 (Paraphrased) Love God and he will love you, and both God and I will manifest in you.
“Behold, the kingdom of God is within you."
John 14:23 (Paraphrased) Love God, honor God and God will live in you.
John 14:26 "But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
2John 1:2 For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.
“Know the truth and the truth will set you free.”
Psalms 82:6 "I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High."
Matthew 17:20 “... If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."
Mark 11:23 “... whosoever shall say to this mountain, be thou removed . . . Those things that he saith, shall come to pass."
“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God."
Matthew 18:20 "When two or more are gathered in my name I am there also."
Isaiah 41:23 "Shew [show] the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye [are] gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold [it] together."
John 10:30-35 + 10:38 John10:30-35 ... 30) " I and my father are one accord. 31) Then the Jews again took up stones to stone him. 32) Jesus said, I have shown you many good works from my Father; for which one of them do you stone me? 33) The Jews said to him, It is not because of the good works we stone you but because you blaspheme; for while you are only a man, you make yourself God. 34) Jesus said to them, Is it not so written in your law you are gods? 35) If he called them gods because the word of God was with them (and the scripture cannot be broken) 38) ...the Father [is] in me, and I in him.
Mark 10:27 "...with God all things are possible."
John 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
J7 What you do onto the least of your brothers, you do onto me u This passage implies that ever time you interact with your human brothers and sisters you are also interacting with God.
Luke17:21 Luke 17:21 ... “Behold, the kingdom of God is within you." u What is the kingdom of God? Those who dominate right-wing Christianity have been telling the public that God's kingdom is in heaven and that heaven is that place above the clouds where all the good Christians will go to be with Jesus after the Rapture.° How does one deal with this type of inconsistency? 1) be mindless and just continue riding along on the fairytale wagon. 2) Consider the Bible to be wrong? 3) Accept what the evidence indicates -- that those leading right-wing Christianity have been and still are intentionally deceiving and misleading their followers. or 4) Ignore the problem and focus on something that really matters like who won the yesterday's ballgame.
You might also note that According to the Christian Bible, Jesus never asked God for anything. In the space of love, respect and gratitude, He merely stated his intention and said thank you. His actions, along with the Biblical scriptures such as those quoted above, support the validity that humans are far more than worthless hunks of clay that must beg an angry, fickle, violent, vindictive God for favors. These scripture also indicate that the Christian Bible is in harmony with the Three Universal Laws:

Some Aspects of a Spiritual Journey That You Need to Be Aware of: |
|
. There Are No "Undo" Buttons: There are thresholds in life that are like open doors and two way streets. In those situations, you can retrace your steps and/or your actions can be undone. There are also "thresholds," "lines in the sand," "doorways," and passageways form one place to another and/or from one state of being to another and/or from one level of consciousness to another that once we cross them, we can never go back. These are things we do, actions we take, decisions we make, choices we choose that are like Niagra falls. They only flow one-way. They can't be undone or un-learned. You simply cannot go back. A spiritual journey is one of those experience that do not have undo buttons. If you enter into a sacred journey as a genuine truth seeker, you'll very likely contact one or more aspects of your inner God-Self that you were previously unaware of. Once that happens, your life will change. Sometimes the changes are very slight, sometimes they are quite significant. You can go into denial and pretend you don't know what you do know, but that's worse than never haven taken the journey at all. Here's a example of a "No-Undo:" Suppose one day, you mother confides in you that when she was younger she was a professional prostitute, working for a major corporation. She tells you that her job was officially to oversee the acquisition of company office supplies and office equipment, but what she was really on the payroll for was to provide sexual services for the company executives and for guests at company social events. She goes on to say that after about three years on the job she got pregnant with you, and that she has no idea who your biological father is. Occasionally a spiritual journey can be that profound, so before you decide to participate in an adventure of this nature, you need to be sure that you are really ready. If you ask one of us to share that day with you, you'll be required to sign a disclaimer and a non-responsibility, in which you accept full responsibility for anything that happens in your life at the event and after the event. . |

. Not For Everyone: A spiritual journey is definitely not for every one. Like anything else out of the ordinary, each person must decide for him or herself whether of not to invoke access to the inner, non physical worlds while in the mind altered state induced by smoking or ingesting marijuana. If you have never used marijuana, our sacred journeys are definitely not for you. We DO NOT accept marijuana virgins on any of our spiritual quests. Another prerequisite is for participants to have at least a basic understanding to how the universe functions. If you are strongly attached to any of the traditional religions, what we do is not for you. Why? Because there are huge differences between what the evidence tells us is most likely the truth about reality and what you've been led to believe it is by religious leaders who claim to know. Once you know the truth by way of your own experience, you'll not be able to go back to mindlessly believing ancient religious fairytales. (See the references below on this page.)
