A sacred journey is a way of experientially
breaking some of your illusions about the the nature of
reality. It's consciously and intentionally connecting one's
self to the portion of life that is not in the physical world such as
your thoughts, beliefs, attitudes feelings, and emotions.
In the process, we shift your attention away from the physical word and
focus on your internal feelings, on your internal state of
being.
The latest evidence from
sub-atomic physics tells us that everything is a single oneness, a
unified
whole. As distinct from the belief that
"The Source of Creation" is a superhuman being who lives in the sky
above planet Earth, the evidence points to the conclusion that
everything is
inside of and part
of the source of Creation.
We commonly call that source of creation "God"
(Creator/God). Like a multifaceted diamond with an
infinite number of
faces, The Oneness shines light out
of and into
everything.
At the same
time, it is nothing, no-thing. It is a
mysterious form of consciousness. Humans are a part
of that consciousness. As co-creators with
Creator/God, each one of us generates physical forms, and personal
experiences that are mirrors of our dominant (most common) thoughts,
feelings, emotions, beliefs, attitudes, and
expectations. A sacred journey is taking one's
conscious-mind into the non-physical world -- into the world of
conscious -- into the world of intentional creation.
"Where in the physical world does
one go
to meet whatever it is that we call Creator/God?"
The answer is,
"Anywhere, everywhere, and no where.
Creator/god is everywhere
and nowhere at the same time. Creator/God
is in
everything. Everything is in
Creator/God. Creator/God is everything.
How do we get to
heaven? The answer depends
upon whether heaven is a place or a state of being.
Where does one
go to find love, joy, peace of mind, contentment, and a sense
of
well-being? You can engage in physical experiences that
produce these
states of being, but "being" is not a physical
activity and love, joy, peace of mind, contentment are not physical
things.
In a sacred journey, it's our state of being
that we
connect to. We connect to the answer to this
question: "Who am I?'
If, in response to the question "Who am I?", you tap on your
chest and say "me," it's the "me"
in your answer that we are reaching for in our sacred
journeys.
